Transervice Logistics, a provider of fleet maintenance and transportation solutions, appointed Alex Lafaras to the role of CFO.

Lafaras has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience, having worked in a variety of industries with responsibility for operations and general management. During his career, Lafaras has provided financial leadership in 10 countries in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.

Most recently, Lafaras was CFO of GGI, a glass manufacturing company. He also spent 12 years with ALUMIL, a multi-national group of 35 manufacturing companies in 30 countries worldwide, holding positions as North American CFO and executive vice president, managing director, country manager of Bulgaria, and group international controller. He began his career as financial manager for VARVARESSOS, a publicly traded textile manufacturing company.
