MEI Healthcare Launches Leasing Program With Biologics Modular

Biologics Modular announced that it has entered into an agreement with MEI Healthcare Capital to provide a leasing program for cleanrooms and manufacturing facilities. This new program will allow both small and large companies to lease the facilities needed to produce FDA regulated material.

“Traditional facility building processes burn through millions of capital dollars and years of potential manufacturing time,” said Clark H. Byrum, Jr., president and CEO of Biologics Modular. “The current business model for drug manufacturing companies is changing, and as we see more offsite research and development, there is a growing need for affordable quality facilities. The new initiative is intended to allow research park companies to innovate more quickly without draining their capital.”

Craig Atcheson, president of MEI Healthcare Capital, said, “MEI’s years of experience in the healthcare finance industry have enabled us to structure and implement these kinds of creative financing programs, and we are pleased to provide this resource for Biologics’ customers.”

Brownsburg, IN-based Biologics Modular is a manufacturer of mobile and modular facilities for the CGMP industries.

Coral Springs, FL-based MEI Healthcare Group, parent company of MEI Healthcare Capital, is a healthcare strategy firm working with physician groups, hospitals, manufacturers and medical centers to provide turnkey healthcare solutions – project feasibility studies, healthcare analytics and consulting services, capital equipment acquisitions, project financing and marketing and branding strategies.
