Oakmont Capital Services hired William Schmidt as director of information technology, Rachel Hoffman as operations specialist, Sara Birr as documentation specialist and Alyson Och and Maria Trettel as credit analysts.

With more than four decades of IT expertise, Schmidt will lead OCS’ efforts to innovate systems, stay connected via the Microsoft suite of services and thwart hacking and cyber-attacks.

“I’ve known Bill for many years, and I’m happy to have him on board with OCS as our director of IT,” Joe Leonard, CLFP, president of OCS, said. “Bill was an integral part of our recent CRM overhaul with Leasepath, which was a huge undertaking to improve efficiencies and provide a more streamlined funding process.
