According to the Fort Scott Community Tribune, a local college board of trustees approved an amendment to a lease purchase agreement for a new baseball scoreboard with PNC Equipment Finance.

The Tribune noted the change allows the college, as a public institution, to terminate the lease agreement if funds are not appropriated in future years.

The Tribune said the board previously accepted a bid for the scoreboard in the amount of $70,000 to be paid over a five-year period.
