Reuters: Deutsche Bank to Sell Non-Performing Ship Loans

Citing people close to the matter, Reuters reported that in an attempt to grow its transport lending activities, Deutsche Bank found a buyer for its risky ship loans.

According to Reuters, citing one of the sources, investors Oak Hill Advisors and Varde were said to be the buyers.

Reuters noted that after the sale, Deutsche Bank’s exposure will be lower which will likely prompt a renewed interest in lending to the sector again.
