Ritchie Bros. will sell more than 2,250 equipment items and trucks from more than 250 companies at its unreserved auction in Saskatoon, SK to be held April 9 and April 10.

The two-day Saskatoon auction includes a selection of late-model equipment from the agriculture, construction, transportation and other industries. Highlights include 75 truck tractors, 45 compactors, 30 ag tractors, 25 excavators, 25 loaders, as well as dozers, a large selection of crushing equipment, hundreds of trailers and real estate. All items will be sold without minimum bids or reserve prices.

“This is the largest selection of equipment we’ve ever offered at our Saskatoon site — there is something for everyone here,” said Jason Huber, a regional sales manager for Ritchie Bros. “For the first time in Saskatoon we will have two, full live auction days. We encourage interested buyers to check out the complete selection of equipment on our website and then come on down to the site to inspect and test the gear for themselves.”

More than 85 of the items in the auction are being sold for Geransky Bros. Construction, a Martensville, SK-based contractor in business since 1975.

“In next week’s auction we are selling trucks, loaders, screen plants, conveyers and more. All of it meticulously maintained. I think buyers will be hard-pressed to find gear as nice as ours,” said Dennis Geransky, president of Geransky Bros. “We have a long history with Ritchie Bros. — both as a buyer and as a seller.
