TIAA Chooses Sundmaker to Lead Capital Markets Platform

Megan Sundmaker accepted the role of capital markets relationship manager for TIAA Bank. Sundmaker will oversee the platform’s participation in acquisitions for both small and large equipment portfolios and develop relationships with specialty and captive lessors and bank-owned finance companies. Sundmaker will report to Justin Tabone, senior vice president and originations group leader for TIAA.

“[Sundmaker] has an extensive background in developing client relationships and managing new projects,” Tabone said. “And she is well-positioned to lead TIAA Bank’s capital markets platform as we focus on the accelerated growth of this business.”

Sundmaker has more than 15 years of experience in vendor equipment financing, with a focus on fostering relationships and new business development. She began her career at CIT Bank, where she spent 10 years in information technology before transitioning into operations and project management. Sundmaker joined TIAA in 2016 and ran the southeast territory for the office products platform before moving into her new role.

“I am looking forward to leading the capital markets platform for TIAA Bank and excited for the immense opportunity we have for growth in the future,” Sundmaker said.
