Eli Sethre oversees all financial functions at Channel Partners Capital, including finance and accounting, risk analytics, portfolio management and servicing and reporting. His experience extends across financial management, business leadership and corporate and marketing strategy.

Sethre joined Channel Partners Capital in 2016 because he was motivated to be part of the scale and growth potential of the company’s business model. He found the company’s product offering unique to the finance sector and better structured than similar capital choices, even outside of the equipment finance industry. As the company looked to launch its equipment finance product, Sethre played an integral leadership role in evaluating the opportunity and ensuring a financially sound and successful entry.

Sethre takes a collaborative approach to leadership, working to build a team of cross-functional experts who champion connected ideation and growth. He believes success is a team effort and his cooperative method makes him someone colleagues trust.

“Eli led and was instrumental in the optimization of our capital structure in a way that enables long-term growth and in achieving our goals to bring in an equity sponsor and new bank lines of credit. Sethre’s background in risk modeling and analytics also has helped Channel Partners Capital build a risk team that centers efforts on continued modeling improvement and predictive advancement, capitalizing on the organizations nimbleness to consistently evolve and launch new generations annually.

Sethre was previously CEO and founder of aFundia, a data analytics and modeling firm. He also served in senior roles at CAN Capital.
