Bloomberg: Confidence in Economy Highest in Six Years



Bloomberg reported the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index of consumer sentiment increased to 83.7, the highest since July 2007. Separately, Bloomberg also said the Conference Board’s gauge of the economic outlook for the next three to six months climbed 0.6% in April, which was more than forecast.

According to a poll of investors, analysts and traders who are Bloomberg subscribers, the U.S. economy will continue to recover until at least 2015 without tumbling into a recession, Bloomberg said.
