David Wiener, a managing director with The Alta Group, has been respected in the disciplines of sales, credit and capital markets/syndications within the equipment finance industry for more than 35 years. He is regarded as a leading authority on equipment finance data and demographics analysis.

Dexter Van Dango is a pen name for a real person who is a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in the equipment leasing industry. A self-described portly, middle-aged, graying, balding leasing guy in the twilight of a mediocre career, Van Dango will provide occasional insight from the front lines via Monitor.

Diane Croessmann deploys leasing and managed solutions programs world- wide and develops early strategy for captive, vendor leasing and managed solutions programs, executing these programs and restructuring sales operations.

Dale Tower is Vice President, Remarketing, Corcentric Capital Equipment Solutions, and has more than 30 years’ experience in the transportation industry. His primary focus is on the development and growth of Remarketing services, which provides Corcentric (formerly AmeriQuest) and NationaLease members with a value-added service that frees them of the responsibility of selling their used trucks while obtaining higher gains. Dale previously held executive roles at TEAM Vehicle Sales, Budget Rent-a-Car, and Ryder System, Inc. Dale attended BYU- Idaho.

Jody Green is the president of Commerce Bank Equipment Finance.

Katie Emmel serves as Chief Operating Officer at IDS where she is responsible for overall product strategy and global professional services. With over 30 years of equipment and asset finance domain experience, Ms. Emmel has led the build out and implementation of industry leading asset finance technology being leveraged by some of the world’s largest financial institutions. She has led the company’s push into the cloud with the 2018 release of IDScloud. In addition to her responsibilities at IDS, Ms. Emmel gives back to the equipment and asset finance community through her volunteer work with the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation.

Ken Gates has been in banking, private equity and equipment finance since 1987. He joined the equipment finance group at Frost Bank five-and-a-half years ago and was recently promoted to president.

Paul Burnham is the CEO of El Dorado Commercial Finance, a provider of leasing, working capital and financing diversification services. He is also the current president of the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers.

Steven De Franco is vice president of Sales, Procurement Services for Construction and Agriculture, at Corcentric. He has more than 40 years of industry experience, including previous work with Bridgestone/BANDAG.

Steve Geller began his career as a national bank examiner for the OCC division of the U.S. Treasury, before becoming a bank officer and transitioning into the equipment finance industry in the 1970’s as a marketing representative for several leasing companies. He founded and has been operating his own business, Leasing Solutions LLC, since 2001, representing a select number of brokers and assisting in the funding of transactions. He has served as an officer, conference chair, and board members of the Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors, as a founding trustee and member of the board of the CLFP Foundation,and as a participant at ELFA.
